When the Tempo battery is replaced, depending on the Tempo settings at your community, you should hear a start-up tone and see a "fuel gauge" light (a solid green light indicates the battery is fully charged). Then, you should see a yellow chasing light on the Tempo to indicate the Tempo is connecting to WiFi. The yellow chasing light will change to a solid green light when the Tempo is connected to WiFi. At this point the Tempo is ready to use.
If the Tempo is unable to connect to WiFi after 1 minute, the yellow chasing light will change to a solid red light and play the message "unable to connect to internet". If this happens, consider moving to a location with better internet and replacing the battery again until the Tempo is able to connect to the internet. Then, contact IT support to improve the WiFi in the area the Tempo could not connect to WiFi.
